Having a boat is one thing, putting one of those big boat engines on it is something completely different, but these guys did it anyway.
For instance, one of them put a 500HP engine on his jet boat, something which is bound to end in either an awesome experience, or more likely, a tragic accident. In this case, we don`t get to see what happens, but we definitely see how awesome that engine is and how much water it displaces simply by going at a fraction of its speed. However, that`s not even the most powerful engine in this video. The engine right after that is rocking an astounding 1200 horsepower in a pair of 502 big blocks. And the boat they`re on isn`t even that big!
The screeching from these big boat engines as they reach the high thousands of RPMs is at the same time ear-destroying and pleasurable because let`s face it, who doesn`t want to hear that awesome sound? Another guy put a 500 horsepower engine on his little single seater jet spring boat. The thing flies over the water like a heat-seeking missile and it moves so much water that you`ll think it started raining, heavily. One guy even tests out one of his big boat engines in his front yard – it goes exactly as you`d think it would – that huge engine is meant for sea, not land!
