This year`s edition of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Motor Show was among the best ever! It had a lot to offer, therefore it is not weird that people in the automotive world are still talking and writing about it! We are pretty sure that this won`t stop soon – as a matter of fact, the more the merrier! On the other hand, it was a great pleasure to be a part of such show and our goal is to share everything we saw at the Las Vegas Convention Center with you! You can find many videos recorded at the “crime scene” here on Muscle Cars Zone! Not only videos, but images are available as well. In this article you are about to see images of the 10 most debatable self built cars that were part of the 2015 SEMA Show. There are domestic and international vehicles as well. So, let`s review them.
1. Kylie Tjin Honda HR-V (Special Edition)
This vehicle is equipped with a wide body kit, one-of-a-kind paintjob and also an air suspension. However, with that paint we doubt that there will be men “brave” enough to drive this HR-V. Kind of looks like a chubby kid.
2. Nissan GT-R by Kuhl Racing
Out of all the self built cars, this one has a distinctive custom engraved metal paintjob named “3D Ultimate Engraving Metal Paint” which probably took ages to complete! This automobile was brought straight from Japan into the Savini Wheels booth. Kuhl Racing once again proved that they are masters for crazy paintjobs!
3. Valyrian Steel
Although it may look like this vehicle is inspired by a Mad Max Movie, however it is inspired by the popular TV show Game Of Thrones. It took 2,000 man hours to create it and is powered by a 2015 Coyote Ford V8 engine..
4. Scion FR-S
This automobile represents a mélange of sport and luxury. It features black Alcantara leather heated seats, a smart key, push-button start, HID headlights, 17″ forged wheels, unique aero kit and it comes with both six-speed manual and automatic gearbox.
5. Pastel Purple Lexus IS250
Inaurguably, one of the most appealing of all self built cars on the outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center. This pastel purple Lexus IS250 is probably the only vehicle with “girlish” paintjob that men would like to drive.
6. Hogie Shine Ford-C750 and Model A
Both vehicles have the same retro color, which makes them even more compatible. Dan Hogan proved himself once again! Plus, the Ford C750 has an air ride suspension.
7. Takeda San Infiniti Q45
This car is so appreciated in the Land of the rising sun that it has been on the cover of VIP magazine! Self built cars are probably big there.
8. Andromeda Lexus IS250
This automobile belongs to Liz Tarnof, member of the Team Hybrid. Her goal was to create a one-of-a-kind vehicle. According to us, she met her goal. Also, this automobile wouldn`t look like this without the help of NS Wheels, Spec D Tuning as well as NRG Innovations.
9. Hot Wheels Twin Mill
This full size Twin Mill is built by Tommy DeFranzo. It is powered by two supercharged Chevrolet motors, each capable of delivering 1000 horsepower!
10. KRC Japan Mazda RX-7
When it comes to SEMA, the Japanese really mean business. This particular vehicle`s vintage FD3S chassis has been upgraded with a wide body kit – job done by D Mendoza from SS Auto.
