If you ask any muscle car aficionado “How does he feel about purchasing a stock Detroit muscle that can hit the Quarter-Mile for 8 seconds”, we all know what the answer would be! It was back in 1968 when the Ford Performance presented their premier Ford Cobra Jet Mustang model, as an NHRA racing car. And now, at the very beginning of November 2015, Ford has officially announced that they are unveiling their latest 2016 Mustang Cobra Jet model, faster than ever before, and of course, in limited edition.
When it comes to the Ford Cobra Jet Mustang, its motor is the heart of the car, which is made up to 75% of regular, production components, same as those in the 2016 Ford Mustang. This means that the new Cobra Jet model is supercharged, even though the concept was announced as a Twin Turbocharger. However, the car`s engine is including specific coil-overs shocks and springs, certified roll cage, specialized fuel system, and a few other things which make it a real thunderstruck on the strip.
