In a previous video, he mounted the wheel spacers in one of his project cars, but immediately got flooded with comments on how they are not safe and are dangerous to drive with.
Well, in reality they can be dangerous, but only if they are not mounted properly or they jiggle around when not secured in place. Once he got his wheel spacers, he immediately modified then and placed a ring that was smaller in diameter than the hole on the spacer, just so it could fit snuggly on the hub.
All you need is just couple of welds to get this done. Once you install the spacer in place and put the wheels back on, everything should be nice and tight and there should be no movement. Even though, in an ideal world, you would completely change the wheels, but that would cost you couples of thousands of dollars.
