A YouTuber David Evans uploaded this footage of an air compression explosion to raise awareness of the hazards of older air compressors and the damage it can inflict. This footage is capturing this guy`s grandfather about four feet away from an air compressor exploding. Basically, he says that if the tank looks old, just throw it away. These tanks rust from the inside out and moisture begins to develop inside of the tank. After a while the tank becomes weak, then the regulator which is the only safety feature doesn`t account for a tank that has become weakened over its life span.
This means that a 100 psi can cause a tank to explode. David Evans felt that it was his duty to get this air compression explosion video out. He hopes that people share it and will think twice about their air compressor sitting in their garage before they turn it on. It`s a real threat, you don`t see it coming, and it changed David Evans` family forever.
