We all know that our military is ridiculously powerful. We have many state of the art machines that are part of our military forces. Today we will focus on one particular model of heavily armed military gunship. We are talking about the AC-130U Spooky, and in the video we are sharing with you guys today, this plane goes on a live-fire and air refueling mission! Seeing this gunship in action sends chills down our spines.
Whoever decides to mess with us will definitely have a hard time getting anywhere! Nonetheless, let us get back on track. The video starts with the AC-130U Spooky getting prepared for the mission. You can see soldiers getting 105mm bullets used for practice inside the plane. After everything is set, the plane is ready to take flight. As soon as it was at the required altitude, the practice mission was under way. With all the guns mounted, the weapons started firing. You will even see the damage these weapons caused to the ground, where they made several huge holes.
All of the guns that this plane has were shown, and we must admit that we were most impressed by the rotary cannon. That thing can fire several thousand rounds per minute! With the firing part of the mission done, it was time to continue with the air refueling mission. Another plane showed up, and it threw a fuel hose.
Even though it looks quite simple in this video, refueling a plane in the air takes a lot of skill! It took a full day to complete this practice mission, but in the end, we got a really nice video. This is why we decided to share it with everyone here, so you can see how good our Air Force is!
