Two with, and two without their mini supercharger. The goal is to see both torque and horsepower improvements once it is installed. The result is quite impactful, as installing the supercharger boosts the torque and horsepower by a grand total of 31%.
By running a dyno test, the guys at RB Innovations were able to see how good their 1/5th scale supercharger is. As a reminder, the word “Dyno“ is short for dynamometer. This device is used for measuring a variety of things, most notably force and torque. The engine’s power can be known if you measure torque and rotational speed. Measuring these two things is essential for testing out a supercharger`s capabilities. This makes RB Innovations’ mini supercharger reasonably potent.
