Shortly before the official premiere, the Internet has once again provided us with the first photos of one exclusive model that experts say is the strongest among the BMW M Performance family! Ladies and gents, behold the newest 2017 BMW X4 M40i!
In comparison with the standard model, BMW X4 M40i visually is not much different. The changes relate to the stylistic details of the front bumper, the different exterior mirrors and the specially designed 19-inch alloy wheels. However, what makes the main difference is hidden under the hood, where a 3.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine is placed. It delivers 360 horsepower, and has 465 Nm of torque and the power is transmitted via an 8-speed automatic transmission. According to the preliminary information, the acceleration from 0-62 mph can be achieved in 4.9 seconds, which is 0.6 seconds better than BMW X4 35i. The maximum speed of the car will be electronically limited to 155 mph.
