You Asked for It, You got It! Hyundai Luxury Sports Coupe HND-9 at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show!
Hyundai unveiled its next-generation luxury sports coupe HND-9 at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show. This vehicle illustrates the Hyundai`s design direction in the future.
In fact this is an evolution of Hyundai Design Philosophy `Fluidic sculpture`, because this sports coupe is a balance between sophisticated image and high performance. Its futuristic design concept it`s the 9th project of R&D Center in Namyang, Korea.
Its wheel base is 2,860 mm, its length is 4,695 mm, its width is 1,890 mm and height only 1,340. HND-9 is equipped with 3.3-liter GDI Turbo engine with 330hp and 8-speed automatic transmission. All the innovation in the modern design like sculptural rear lights, butterfly doors, 22-inch stylish alloy wheels, hexagonal radiator grille and dual tailpipes contributes for its sci-fi futuristic look.
At the 2013 Seoul Motor Show Hyundai exhibited 30 cars as well as 11 new technologies in the ten specialized zones.
Karim Rashid’s ‘I40 Art Car’!
One of the other vehicles unveiled at the show was `i40 Art Car` designed by the concept `harmony between design and technology` from Karim Rashid. This designer applied rainbow and triangular shapes on the car`s exterior in order to capture the movements of the i40.
Hyundai ‘My Baby’ Exhibition!
On this motor show Hyundai unveiled its 3rd `My Baby` exhibition. The bigest Korean automaker promoted this global design project back in 2008 and exhibited the designs at the 2009 Seoul Motor Show. At this year`s motor show in Seoul, the project was upgraded, so the visitors could experience the special spaces with sounds, videos and lights like an addition to the Hyundai design models.
Duty Truck Xcient was unveiled at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show!
This Hyundai`s heavy duty truck has improved efficiency and styling. From ‘Xcient’ it is expected to race the presence of Hyundai in the world`s commercial market.
The cabin of the truck is 1,895 mm, the width of the bed inside is 800 mm, its storage room is 1,046 L, it is equipped with 10-liter engine with 420/torque 200 kg*m and another Powertech engine with 520ps / torque 255 kg*m.
