The 2015 Cadillac Escalade Truck is part of the models of GM`s only luxurious car producer for which people have divided opinions. Ones adore it because of its magnificent styling, but others detest it because of its lack of fuel economy. With the new CAFÉ regulations, the situation has deteriorated and GM has been suggested to do something about it, but it seems that General Motors is still not ready to embark on such journey.
According to the latest information the new 2015 Cadillac Escalade truck is expected to be ready in 2014 while at the beginning of 2015 it will be ready-to-buy model. The thing with this new Cadillac Escalade is that unlike other SUV producers that change their styling directions, the Escalade remains faithful to its truck like shape and will be having the same platform as the Sierra and the anticipated Chevrolet Silverado.
However, now nothing else can be claimed with certainty and the possible change of the external designs of different vehicles is only based on theories. Well, according to threes theories, the Silverado and Sierra will certainly be main victims in terms of shape as it was the case with the F-150 model. Nothing is confirmed from Chevrolet or GMC trucks regarding the form, but if this trend continues it is highly justifiable to expect alterations made on the Escalade as well.
Maybe the design is uncertain, but what is definite is the fact that this classy SUV has to work harder in order to fulfill the CAFÉ criteria concerning fuel economy which is staggering 18 mpg. Some of the solutions GM may consider is inserting an engine similar to the Ford`s EcoBoost V-6 in the Escalade, such as the 3.0-liter twin turbo engine or maybe a turbo diesel engine which Cadillac`s owners are not very fond of.
