Ever since I have seen the very first film about James Bond, one of the things that fascinated me the most was his great car and the image of that perfectly designed small, but furiously fast car got stuck in my mind forever. I`m sure that many of you have had a similar experience when it comes to 007 and the famous Aston Martin. But the specimen that we are about to show you in today`s video is not from the vantage DB5 model, but from the new Aston Martin Rapide S, and believe me when I say to you that this car will rock your world. When I first laid my eyes on it, it seemed like everything was upside-down and sideways, I actually felt like the earth was moving.
With its 5.9 liter V12 engine that generates 550 HP and 457 pounds feet of torque, screaming at 6750 rpm, without any superchargers and turbos involved, this new Aston Martin Rapide S is rewriting the Rapide S tale with the AM11 V12 that we saw earlier in the Vanquish model. There is a new crankshaft, stuffed in the revised block and capped to the new cylinder heads that gives new timing on the intake and the exhaust, which makes it flow a lot better, with only lightly increase in the compression ratio.
