We live in a terrifying time in which terrorist attacks are on the growing list. This past year we have witnessed some awful shootings in which dozens of innocent people were murdered in mass shootings, and this time it happened yet once again. The US and the whole world were shocked when they heard the news about the Sutherland Spring shooting in which dozens of people lost their lives by a gunman. Hereby, we take a look at the story of Johnnie Langendorff and the way he became a Texas hero during that awful event.
Namely, he was driving his truck just besides the church at the same time the shooting took place. He noticed two men exchanging fire at one another, and then he saw the shooter, Devin Patrick Kelley, running away and entering in his vehicle. Immediately after, the man that was exchanging fire with Kelley entered in Johnnie`s truck and they started going after him.
They chased him down the road with the man`s gun pointed out at him the whole time. Then, all of a sudden the shooter lost control of his vehicle that caused him to stop the car and crash. The man got out from the truck the same moment and pointed his gun towards the shooter. He kept him standing there until the police arrived. Who knows, maybe Johnnie and the other men were the ones who helped save the lives of other people.
All we can to do now is to pray for the people involved in the Sutherland Springs incident.
