Everyone knows that high octane gas is way better for your car in a number of aspects. So far, we haven`t had much contact with it, but we do know that if we did, it would be way more expensive and still harder to find, but it would mean better fuel economy for our vehicles, which in turn would set off a huge sequence of events in the automotive industry! We can see this in action in the European fuel market, where this type of gas is sold normally at gas stations for a higher price, but boosts the fuel economy of the vehicles by 10 percent more than the standard US 92-94 octane fuel.
If this stuff starts selling a lot in the US, it`s going to be real fun. However, it appears that high octane gas isn`t just in our sights, it`s in the sights of major automotive companies, and why wouldn`t it be? This type of fuel refines the burning process inside your engine, which means that in the future, cars can be built with smaller engine, but at the same time they will have more output, a more efficient fuel economy and a lot less emissions of dangerous gases.
This means that it`s very likely that we`re going to see high octane gas on US pumps very soon, since of course people have been looking for newer and better ways to reduce emissions. As far as the price is concerned, according to the companies, people would buy it if it wasn`t more than 10 cents more expensive than the other types of fuel.
