Among many great and legendary names in the world of racing there is one that stands out from the rest. His name is none other than Dale Earnhardt Jr. Being one of the greats in the world of racing, his name became a symbol and he left a legacy that seems nobody can reach any time soon. There is one track in particular that Dale enjoys it very much while racing and that is Martinsville Speedway. Having done so much for the track, the people from Martinsville Speedway decided to repay him back and invited Dale`s wife, Amy Earnhardt to drive the pace car just before the race.
She stated that watching his husband being very happy after he had won the race back in 2014 is something she will never forget. Dale will race in the First Data 500 which is actually the opening race for the Round of 8. This is going to be Dale`s final race and it is going to be something extraordinary. The President of Martinsville is Clay Campbell and he says that giving the chance for Amy Earnhardt to drive the pace car is a way to give back to Dale Earnhardt Jr. for everything that he has done over the years for this race.
