When you`re walking down the street with your metal friends and you see a really hardcore looking insect, what do you do? Well, if you`re this guy, you take off your headphones and put them around the antennae of this thing and presto – you might just have a musical bug! They put the earphones on him and when they blasted really loud metal music , they were in for a surprise! This little guy started banging his head like he actually enjoyed the metal that was playing through the earphones, and the guys all had a good laugh as well, as they tried to capture the best angle to record from. Of course, we have no proof what the movement of the bug was supposed to represent, but it still looks cool.
This isn`t the first time that we`ve seen other species enjoying our types of music – sharks, for example love metal because of its natural low frequency and dense tones. Seeing this Hungarian musical bug should be just as expected, and let`s face it – it looks cool enough to like metal instead of softer music. Of course, he may be the only metal fan with six legs, but he`s still one!
This video got about 120 thousand reactions on Facebook and about 220 thousand share, which is really something to show you how much people appreciate this little musical bug. I wonder if scientists have conducted experiments to show what other species like, that would be really fun and it would allow us to connect more easily.
