There are many comment below the YouTube video from non car people. They are all are confused why some of the cars spitting water from their exhaust. So, here is an explanation why that happens. Gasoline is actually made from of hydrogen and carbon, so when you start to burn it starts to combines with oxygen in order to form water and carbon dioxide. The water is actually in the form of gas (steam) in the combustion chamber, so if the engine was not running and the whole exhaust system is cold, than certain amount of the water will condense into form of liquid water. So, that’s the reason why you see the water coming out from the exhaust of the car sometimes.
And here is the explanation why the powerful sports cars are spiting fire from the exhaust. When you press the full throttle, the valve is completely open, so the fuel injection is pumping inside more gas in order to match the oxygen in cylinder ( this is done by sensors in the modern cars). At the moment when you lift your foot off the throttle, some amount of unburnt fuel is left in the cylinders because there was not enough oxygen to burn out completely. So, when that fuel will enter into the hot exhaust then it ignites and you can hear the explosion and see the flames from the exhaust.
