The patent rules in China are so lax that it allows the car manufacturers to literary clone some of the world`s most recognizable car brands. Every car, such as BMW, Rolls Royce, and Jeep go through the process of becoming a Chinese copy car. In the following video we see 10 examples of Chinese copy cars at the Shanghai motor show in 2017.
First on the list is the Suzhou Eagle – an electric vehicle which looks ridiculously like a Porsche. Additionally, the car`s headlights are cloned versions from the Ferrari California T. What a “hybrid” this is!
Next on the list is the BAIC concept which is basically a combination of two other SUVs`, the Range Rover and the Jeep Cherokee. When you take a first look at it, you could not tell the difference if it is a Range Rover or a BAIC. Furthermore, there is also a complete copy of the Land Rover, simply called the Land Wing X7 SUV.
