After spending many hours on very close examination of all the photos sent to us, we made our mind and picked the photos by Wiber Laboy from Las Vegas, NV. He sent us some awesome pics of his Pro Street style 1974 Ford Maverick. Wiber is the owner of this car for more than 25 years. However, he and his brothers did some reconstruction on the original model, so now instead of the green six-cylinder it has a mind-blowing 427 ci small-block with a 5-speed manual. For his efforts, the photoshooting and everything, Wiber was granted $800 to spend in the Autometer Custom Shop.
Let`s talk specifics for a while. This car has a 427ci Dart Aluminum Windsor with BPM heads engine, that can pull out 650 horses. The transmission is Lenco 5-speed manual and the suspension is stock front, ladder bar with coilover rear. It has 15.3.5 & 15 x 12 Weld Pro Star with fronttrunners as well as 31 x 15 Mickey Thompson and a Stock discs frond and Wilwood discs rear.
