As we read about this 1933 Ford Custom that is about to enter the stage at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, we found out that it was built by RideTech in 1933 and it has all-aluminum 427cid small-block Ford engine that boosts around 580 horses. We also found out that the building process of this Ford Coupe lasted around 3000 hours.
This 1933 Ford Custom Coupe is equipped with 14-inch Baer brakes placed behind the Forgfeline wheels, magnesium NASCAR 4-speed, Holley EFI system, Winters quick change rear end, a Fuel Safe fuel cell, stainless 3-inch exhaust and steel roll cage and on-board fire suppression system.
The guys from RideTech took care of the interior as well. The insides are all riveted aluminum crafted by the RideTech team and the seats include ergonomic foam cushions. Recovery Room covered the seats with leather. The chassis includes Tilton floor-mounted pedals, custom fabricated front control arms and wishbone rear suspension system, Woodward rack & pinion front steering system, triple adjustable coilovers and so on.
This `33 baby was many times champion.
It was the winner at the 2012 Goodguys Pro Series, at the 2012 Goodguys Street Rod Series, at the 2012 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational Brake Stop Convention and in 2013 winner of the Optima Face Off at Road America and at Road America Brake Stop Competition. The car made it to the covers of June 2013 Hot Rod Magazine and at the 10th page of June 2013 Hot Rod Magazine Feature Article.
The magazines were not the only who had the honor to meet this 1933 Ford Custom. Optima Street Car TV Shows also had that honor. At the end of 2013 this car was completely restored and now it can freely be part of the Barrett-Jackson auction. We wish you all the luck for the pending bidding.
Finally, check out these amazing street rods!
