Milan is a city known for its beautiful aesthetics, fantastic food and as home of the national stock exchange. However, Milan also played host to an event many in the automobile industry would die to go to. World-famous Lamborghini decided to throw a party in Milan. It hosted an event that showcased many Lamborghini models and makes. As a surprise, it showed off the wondrous Lamborghini Veneno Roadster.
To those not acquainted with the Roadster, the vehicle sports a V12 60-degree multipoint injection engine. Along with the V12, it also shows off a maximum power of 750 constant velocity at 8,400 rpm. You want power? This car has enormous power packed into a smaller and compact vehicle that can double for a sports car.
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is a great choice for speed, too. The max speed of Lamborghini`s creation tops out at 221 mph. You may think that`s impressive, but you also might wonder how long it takes to get there. The time it took you to read the previous sentence is about all the time the Roadster needs to go from 0-62 mph – 2.9 seconds.
The actual makeup of the car is impressive as well. Both the main chassis and body are constructed of carbon fiber. The roof is open and contains a fixed roll-bar system. This means you are extremely safe in the vehicle if something goes wrong.
Speaking of safety, the Veneno Roadster is loaded with safety features. Air bags cover all the major points of the body. Driver, passenger, side and knees are all covered in the Lamborghini vehicle. The front and rear sections of the Roadster are collapsible.
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is a prized vehicle. It packs a punch while controlling like a sports car.
