Professional racers always strive to achieve more, hence, they are competing in various race types, not just one. This way, they are learning new stuff, new driving techniques which make us ordinary human to give standing ovations. And mostly, they use different cars for each race type. However, we are going to show you that is not needed anymore! Today we have the video that covers all of the aforesaid! It is a word of Ken Block`s multi-purpose Hoon Vehicle. This fierce Ford Fiesta is modified to be able to take part in three race types: stage rally, Rallycross and Gymkhana!
The Hoon Vehicle is based on Ford Fiesta`s RS WRC Platform and there is a mighty beast beneath the hood – 2.0 liter TURBO engine which delivers 600 horses and 665 ft/lb of torque! This is the base followed by these changes appropriate for Rallycross – a Sadev 6-speed sequential transmission, Reiger WRC suspension, 355mm Brembo WRC rotors and 4 POT calipers and much more! Next, the car is being prepared for Gymkhana which requires height adjustment for the dampers, spring rates and the vehicle itself! Also, the gears are set to shorter ratio and the engine management map is adjusted too. For this motorsport, Ken Block uses 18-inch custom wheels!
