This might be shocking for you since you know that it is impossible for a 435hp car to hit 195mph!!! And you are right! But, we all know that John Hennessey is a man that doesn`t really give interests for a car under 700 horsepower! Taking this into consideration, the guys from Hennessey Performance added a 2.9 Liter Supercharger, they also upgraded the fuel injections, a custom engine, and that is how this innocent little Mustang turned into a REAL 717HP BEAST!!! Along with the 632 lb/ft of torque – this 2015 HENNESSEY MUSTANG was ready to beat records!!!
So, everything is good to go! Hennessey himself is confident that this GT HPE700 kit is good enough to do a 0-60 in 3.6 seconds! However, he also had some hopes that he was going to hit the 200 miles per hour after he`d hit the 131mph on an 11.2 second 1/4 mile! Well, he did not really achieve the set goals, but he was VERY CLOSE! The Mustang did hit 195.2 mph and if we take the weather and the conditions in mind, this is a great win for 2015 HENNESSEY MUSTANG!
