The 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet concept has been auctioned off by the team of Ford Motor Company and Barrett-Jackson Auction Company.
It has an optional traction wheel stand bar, unique Weld wheels, 9-inch rear axle, T4 racing transmission, a 5.oL supercharged V-8, 8.50 ET certified chrome-moly safety cage, three-link rear suspension, lightweight racing brakes and a custom Cobra Recaro seats. It was designed as a prototype for the 2014 model year with a special serial number. The best bidder will also get a tour around the Ford Production Development Center and Ford Racing, free backstage pass to Ford Design studio and a training at Roy Hill`s Drag Racing School in Sophia, NC.
The team also supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society`s work and various charities through car sales.
