Over the last decade or so, people have been eager in finding old classic and forgotten machines and giving them life yet once again and that is why in this video we take a look at such might machine that still manages to get itself going even after 20 years, and that is the CAT D9D. As we all know, CAT is one of the best and most high quality manufacturer of very strong and robust machines used for various purposes. Their full name is Caterpillar and they are well-known brand worldwide. In a few years time CAT is about to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
So these men found such old machine and decided that they should give a shot and see whether they can resurrect it and give life once again.
Though the video is fairly short and we do not see much from the actual starting process, we see this beast in action. The CAT D9D purrs and runs like an absolute monster. There is couple of things that need to be touched up before actually putting the machine in use, but just powering it up is enough to begin with. Despite being rusted almost everywhere, the engine seems to be just fine and we can see clouds of smoke coming out from the massive exhaust. This is definitely not something we see every day and hereby we highly admire the job these people have done so far. What do you think, will they fully restore this machine?
