Rick surely must have been thanking his lucky stars! He went to look at a crusty old truck, but what he came across left him absolutely speechless. Once he looked over his shoulder, he saw a 1971 Dodge Superbee with a “weird” Mopar color. It is yellow with black stripes and graphics on it. Back in the day, it was bought new from the shop and now it is just sitting there in a barn. Its owner was willing to hear an offer about this 1971 Dodge Superbee, but Rick decided to keep his lips shut and research a bit before coming up with a number. It is a delicate situation and you do not want to insult the owner by offering ridiculous money and looking like a fool.
1971 Dodge Superbee Is The Ultimate Barn Find!
In the barn, Rick checks out the car and it looks like a regular car which has not been driven in decades. He asks the owner if he could pop the hood, because not many people are considerate when it comes to buying such a precious old car. Under the hood there are many rusty parts, but Rick had seen worse, so he does not really mind. The battery is gone, but a real bonus is the 340 Magnum Heavy Duty 727 transmission. It also had a six cylinder radiator as well.
Nevertheless, it is obvious that Rick knows how it is done, because if he comes up with an offer out of thin air, he will never get this car. He is well aware that this car is worth money, otherwise its owner would have got rid of it long ago. Even if he gets it, there is a lot of work, but Rick is up for it, he knows this car is precious!
