Here we have a Challenger power video clip, that could be used as a perfect commercial for the Mopar`s everlasting quality and timeless allure, which only a muscle car like the legendary 1970 Dodge Challenger can give to a passionate car enthusiast. You will see one `70 Challenger that has not been driven for quite a while, actually 10 months ago was the last time since it has felt the smell of the asphalt, and this is its first start up after four months. And of course, only after a couple of coughs, the engine starts running pretty normal. Well, almost (do not think that it is heading to a drag race).
Besides the information that the car has been collecting dust for quite a long time and that it has not been started for four and driven for ten months, we do not really have any info about it, as its owner did not bother himself to give us any. But from what it can be seen in those fast shots in the video, this looks like it is a 1970 Challenger with a 5.2 liter 318 cubic inch V8 motor under the hood (even though it is possible that it could be a 340ci), generating pretty much standard 230 HP.
As I have said, this is a great proof about the endurance of the 1970 Dodge Challenger power but if you ask me, a car like this should not be kept in the garage to collect dust, as it was built to be it driven on the road. Check it out!
