I remember well when I saw “Fast & Furious”, the fourth installment, for the first time, that Chevy Chevelle was the very first thing that caught my eye, because just like many, I was a little bit naïve and expected to see Dom Toretto again in his 1970 Dodge Charger. And to tell you the truth, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw him doing a wheelie with it again, right beside detective Brian and his Skyline GTR R34, very similar like in the original movie. I`m not saying this just for the sake of this article, in which that awesome 1970 Chevy Chevelle vintage muscle is our main subject for discussion, but simply because it is a real part of my experience.
One does not have to be a deep film connoisseur and critic in order to acknowledge the fact that when the first movie, from the now famous franchise, came out back in 2001, became the first Hollywood flick that gained a whole army of followers all over the world, after a long time. Something that is not seen from the glory days of the “Bullitt” in 1968 (with the famous `68 Ford Mustang and the introduction of the legendary `68 Dodge Charger), followed by the “Vanishing Point” in 1970 and the iconic Dodge Challenger, later on there was the “Dirty Marry Crazy Larry” and so on.
