When Wayne Blackwood drove this 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500, then named “Crazy Horse”, he probably didn`t think it would end up like this. This car was bought in 1967 by Casey Paul Ford from the town of Cumming, Georgia, and it served as a drag racing car for quite a while!
This is no ordinary car, as it`s originally a 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500, but since the owner had an in at Carroll Shelby Motors, it has all the visual parts of a `68 Shelby, which means that this car dealership had one of the rare `68s on their showroom floor. It`s a great coup and when people found out, they flocked to the dealership to see this rarity in person.
It`s a despicable thing that happened to this car, but I guess it was inevitable. Its lime green color still stands as a reminder of the once-beautiful look of this car, as well as its perfectly formed exterior and delicate interior reminiscent of its former glory.
