1937 Ford Coupe: Winner of the PPG “Outstanding Use of Color”!

This 1937 Ford coupe has won the award PPG “Outstanding Use of Color” in York, at the 2010 Street Rod Nationals in York, PA. This is a great proof that the car is something special. The paint scheme of burnt orange metallic with black metallic is very timeless and contemporary. The quality of the paintjob will have people examining this ride to detail for hours. All the proportions are strictly correct and the car is still with an aggressive look. The modern and sophisticated look with 2 tones was achieved by following the car body’s original lines.

Under the hood there is a 450hp 383 Chevy engine with Weiand blower and valve covers, polished aluminum intake and chrome accessories. The transmission is a three-speed automatic with a Ford 9″ rear, the front suspension is Air Ride, the brakes are with Baer’s discs and the wheels comes from Billet Specialties (18″ front and 20″ wraped with BFGoodrich radial tyres.



Everything is new inside, from the custom black and gray leather seats to carpets. vintage air handles and the stereo system.
