This awesome American Muscle-Car graveyard was eventually discovered by the Australian Exprorer of Japanese Castles, Daniel O’Grady. He has found all of these rusty classic muscle cars in Kurume City on Kyushu island in Japan. The pile of junk includes more than 11 iconic American muscle cars from the late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, mostly Camaros and Mustangs! It`s a shame these abandoned classic cars are not saved and brought here!
You could see some badly rusted Split-Bumper 1970 Camaro Z28 RS, another one orange Camaro from 1969 with 307 ci V8 engine, 1979 Pontiac Trans Am T-tops & some W 72 Pontiac 400 with a T/A 6.6L engine (this one looks rusty as well but its in the best shape compare to all of them. It is a shame to see the 1970 Camaro Z28 for example, rusting amongst its abandoned classic cars brothers. The car that was presented to the public in the 70`s is now alone in a far distant land. What to say about the hero of our generation, the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am? Why leave him rust in Japan? That 6.6 L engine will sure come in handy to everyone!
The 1969 Camaro. Probably the best year for the car. The Japanese might not even be aware of the abandoned classic cars plethora they have! We cannot believe that the “collection” has every amazing and important car. Very rare models that are just rusting and waiting to be melted or shredded!
That is something we should not allow to happen. Let`s save all these Camaros, Mustangs, Pontiacs and Vettes! They belong home!
