If you ask me, to have something like this happen whilst you are preparing to launch off the drag strip is actually embarrassing. Where does all that 1000 hp Duramax power go from here? Come on Chevy, this really is lame.
To tell you the truth, I could not think of any other example like this, even though there are many accidents and funny situation that have happened on the drag strip many times. But I can hardly remember watching such a powerful truck, a 1000 hp Duramax, having such a funny accident happened during a launch on the drag strip!
What we have here is a video from this ominous looking Duramax diesel truck, preparing to rip off the asphalt at Edgewater drag strip, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and give a performance of a life time, when just as the green light goes on, its wheel gets broken. And the guy is not stopping, but continues driving down the strip, just like that. Pretty lame and disappointing if you ask me. I would not want to be in his shoes -- that is for sure. Take a look what I`m talking about.
