Owning a yacht of your own can be seen as a status symbol. However, many people don`t realize that if they own yacht doesn`t mean that they are good captains! This guy had a harbor crash in Oakland, and his expensive 40 foot yacht was quite damaged afterwards. As you will see in the video that we are sharing with you guys, you will witness a 1.7 million dollar hanging on a sea wall. As it turns out, the harbor crash came to be because the owner didn`t know where he was supposed to be! The repairs will undoubtedly be costly!
Anyways, the owner was taking his family to a restaurant for dinner and somehow managed to leave the water channel. Unfortunately, it was the high tide, and the sea wall was just underneath the surface. Needless to say, the boat was rammed onto the wall and it was left there hanging! Luckily, nobody was hurt in this bizarre harbor crash. The boat was returned back to the surface, where the damage it sustained was seen. We just hope that the captain learned his lesson and that he will be more aware of his surroundings the next time he operates his yacht!
